Knowing what matters is only the beginning
There is a lot to consider when it comes to cognitive health. The harder part is knowing what matters for you, and where to start.
Cognevity helps you work out what matters for you — and what to do with what you learn.
The questions that usually come next
What matters most for me?
What should I actually be aiming for?
How do my family history, ApoE4 or other information I have learned about myself fit into the picture?
And importantly: where should I start?
Manageable, not overwhelming
You do not need to change everything
Cognitive health involves many different factors. We work through them progressively, focusing on what is relevant to you and what is realistic in your life.
The aim is progress you can continue — not a perfect twelve weeks.
The Cognevity Method™
A clear process for turning knowledge into action
The Cognevity Method™ gives us a simple structure to work through together. It is built around five questions that help us understand where you are, decide what matters most, learn what is relevant and put it into practice.
01
Understand
Where am I now?
02
Prioritise
What matters to me?
03
Learn
What does the evidence tell me?
04
Apply
What do I want to change?
05
Continue
How do I make it last?
How the program works
We work through the Method progressively, with time between sessions to put what you learn into practice.
What happens over twelve weeks
01
Understand
We begin with your health, lifestyle and history, supported by a health and lifestyle questionnaire and baseline cognitive screen.
From this, we create a personalised starting-point report, showing where you are now across the key areas of cognitive health and helping us identify what to prioritise.
You receive: Your personalised Cognitive Health Starting Point — a summary of where you are now across the areas we have explored.
02
Prioritise
We look at your overall picture together and explore the areas that may be most relevant. You decide where you would like to focus first, and we take your priorities one at a time.
03
Learn
We explore the evidence behind each area, so you understand why it matters for cognitive health, with the learning personalised to you.
04
Apply
For each area you choose to work on, we turn what you learn into clear, practical goals that fit your life. Between sessions, you put them into practice, review what is working and adjust where needed.
You receive: A personalised Action Plan that develops throughout the program.
05
Continue
In your final session, we bring everything together — reviewing what you have learned, the changes you have made and what you want to continue. Your Action Plan becomes your plan for the months ahead.

Common questions
What if I have questions between sessions?
Questions often arise between sessions, so you can contact Rachel by WhatsApp or email as you put what you learn into practice.
What if I want to investigate further?
If you want to investigate further, you can work with your own GP or specialist. We can help you navigate and coordinate the next steps, including connecting you with appropriate healthcare professionals where needed. Medical testing, clinical interpretation, diagnosis and treatment remain with your healthcare professional.
Can I use the program alongside ReCODE?
Rachel is a Bredesen ReCODE 2.0 Certified Coach. If you are an Apollo Health member using ReCODE, Rachel can support you through the process and incorporate your ReCODE report into your Cognevity coaching.
Do I need to know my ApoE4 status, or have bloodwork done first?
No. Genetic testing and bloodwork are not required to begin. Some clients choose to investigate further — through their own GP, a Bredesen-aware doctor, or the official ReCODE program — and where that happens, medical tests are always ordered and clinically interpreted by the doctor, never by Cognevity. Others start with lifestyle, history and what they already know. Both are a genuine place to start.
Will I need to make a lot of changes?
No. The program is designed to help you identify priorities and make changes progressively. What you choose to change remains your decision.
What happens after twelve weeks?
Your final session brings together your priorities, actions and key learnings. We consider what you want to continue, where you may want to go deeper, and how you will remain accountable.
Is Cognevity medical care?
No. Your GP or specialist remains responsible for medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and the clinical interpretation of any tests. Cognevity provides education and coaching, designed to work alongside, not replace, appropriate medical care — we can also help you prepare questions for your appointments.
Start with a conversation
You don’t need to know exactly what you need before you get in touch. We’ll talk about where you are, what you’d like to understand, and whether Cognevity is the right fit. You decide what happens next.
